August

August is here and Spring almost around the corner. We are just back from our annual trip to Melbourne and the Life Instyle trade show. Another great fair completed.

Coming up this month is the start of the Spring fair season we have a few great events. We are looking forward to a trip to France in Sept/October too.

Once again the baskets were so well received at the Melbourne trade fair.  It is alway so wonderful to think that they will be off around the country spreading their magic. With so many alternative carrying bags on the market I am heartened that people are still returning to our great baskets.  They are truely made in a sustainable way and by traditional artisans. So much of what is available now is not – masquerading as eco friendly but in fact not made from sustainable materials and or genuinely handmade.

Basket of the Month

One of our newer baskets and a great tote for the market, school sport or soon enough the beach – our Reinforced Single Strap basket.  With a simple long strap handle  that swings easily onto the shoulder, strengthened by additional reinforcing,  this large basket is a perfect everyday carry all.  In addition this basket has a woven base for additional support so it stands very well.  Pop onto The Shop page for this and all our baskets.
