Wow it is already June – where does the year go!!!!
With the fantastic autumn days of late, the markets have been so wonderful to visit. Hoping for these beautiful days to continue. Soon the harvest of the date palm will begin in Morocco and the cycle of basket making begins again. We are currently working on our new collection to be unveiled later in the year. Some surprises coming! Here is sneak peak. Love the X details. This baskets has it’s origins in Tunisia.
Basket of the Month
Celebrating our buckle basket this month! We are doubly excited about this basket as it also features in this months Country Style market ready feature! This is a great basket – strong and durable with the leather trim and handles but with the added security of the leather strap and buckle. See this basket and all our others over on Our Shop. Markets for June
Every Wednesday and Saturday 3rd, 10th, and 24th June you can find us @mooreparkproducemarket in the Showring at the Entertainment Quarter from 8am to 2pm.
Visit us on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month (10th and 24th) at the Carriageworks Farmers market from 8am to 1pm. Baskets only at this market.
Northside Produce market is on on the first and 3rd Saturday of the month. You can find us at the 3rd Saturday 17th June from 8am to midday.

We can be found every Wednesday and most Saturdays at Moore Park Produce market in May. This market is on in the showering at the Entertainment Quarter from 8am to 2pm. Join us for the Mothers Day market 13th May – there will be raffles, prizes and giveaways.
2 duck will be at Carriageworks Farmers market Saturday 13th and 27th May from 8am tip 1pm for baskets only. We have lots of specials for the May 13th market too.
Rose Bay Farmers market Tuesday 30th May Pannerong Reserve from 8am to 2pm.

April update.
As I write the rain is pelting down and I am thinking of friends and stockists living and working on the East Coast – wow it is wet. This is from Sydney and I am sure it is much worse elsewhere. Seems like we have had unprecedented rains of late. This is giving new meaning to being wet ducks!! My thoughts are with those with roofs blown off and gardens and homes in turmoil!!
We will be away for part of April visiting Cambodia but our onlines will still be processed as normal. See the dates for all our April markets below. Of course it is Easter and we will definitely be at the Burrawang Easter Fair. Rain or shine for this favourite market.

Basket of the Month
A classic basket with leather trim and long handles. This basket is an variation on the original classic basket with leather trim as it has an extra woven rim and base for extra strength and stability. A medium size basket with long thick comfy leather handles it is perfect for all the carrying we do!! It is on special until the end of April for the fête des mêre.
Markets for April
We will be at Moore Park produce market Wednesday 5th and 26th and Saturday 1st, 8th and 29th of April. For baskets, fine French food, St James tee shirts and all our great table linens.
For Goodness Sake – Fair Farmers market at the Royal Randwick Racecourse Sunday 9th April. 8 am to 3pm. With our baskets, St James Tee shirts and a selection of table linens.
We will be at the market only on Saturday 8th April. For baskets.
Burrawang Easter market
Saturday April 15th from 8am to 3pm in the main street of the historic Burrawang Village. We are in our same spot as last year just across the road from the Burrawang Pub. We will have a big piles or 2 of baskets, our great St James tee shirts and plenty of lovely linens. See you there. Check the website for all the info there are some changes for parking and traffic.

Burrawang Easter Market – on Saturday 15th April in the streets of the delightful Burrawang village in the Southern Highlands. 2 duck will be in our traditional spot just across from the pub. With lots of baskets, St James tee shirts and great table linens.

Autumn is coming!
Wow after such a full on summer it is lovely to have some relief from the heat. Perfect for our wonderful St James tops.
Made in France from lovely light weight cotton they perfect for the coming demi season. We have several styles; the 3/4 sleeve Galathee style specially for woman in white and navy or white with red stripes. Or the long sleeve unisex style Minquier. We also have a range for kids in the long sleeve Minquier style. So French!! So perfect.
Basket of the Month
As the weather turns rustic so too do our lovely baskets. This is a beauty – made of leaves of the dwarf palm tree and woven in a rustic style. This basket has a larger woven oval base and leather trim and long leather handles and a greener look to the palm leaf. February is for lovers!!
The school went back this week and life slowly gets back to normal. Luckily the warm weather continues and it is so great to get out for the occasional swim. We always take a basket.
La fête d’amour Valentines day is nearly upon us!!

Holiday time!!
We love January – it is time to take a break, head to the beach with a basket (of course) and catch up on all the admin and stock taking that we couldn’t do before Christmas.
We will be back at the markets later in January so if you want a basket our online shop is the way to go!! Also a reminder that we have our fantastic St James tee shirts available on line. The 3/4 sleeve galathee top is perfect for summer evenings. Made of amazing light cotton they are wear so well. Available in white and red stripes too.

We are in the final days before Christmas – we have been posting every day and will do so until Thursday 22nd Dec (no promises baskets will arrive if they are out of state though).
We have 2 final markets this week:
Moore Park Christmas market Wednesday 21st Dec 8am to 2pm in the Showring.
Carriageworks Christmas Market Friday night 23rd Dec @ Carriageworks 4pm to 9pm. For last minute food and gift shopping.
In the meantime we are Popped up in Paddington @frenchclass for Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Then we will be taking a break but still posting online orders of course.

Thursday 14th December at the Hyde Park Barracks from 4 to 8pm for foodie gifts and 2 duck wares and so much more.
