The baskets are all handmade and hand crafted items and as such, can vary in size, colour and shape. Each weaver is subtly different (much like someones hand writing) which makes each basket unique and individual. The leather is tanned using traditional methods and may have variations in colour. At the moment the colour we have getting is dark brown.
Our return policy lasts 14 days from receipt of goods. If the product you have purchased is not suitable, we will be pleased to offer you an exchange, credit note or refund as long as it meets our refund criteria below. Unfortunately we do not offer a refund or exchange on goods purchased more than 14 days prior.
Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Exchanges: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
Faulty Items: We will happily repair, exchange or refund faulty items within 7 days of receipt of goods. Please contact us by phone or email to discuss the fault that has occurred.
We ship from Surry Hills Sydney. For all regular shipping we use Australia Post.
We used to use Aus Post expandable tough bags to ship the baskets, however Australia Post started charging the parcel at a considerable higher rate of postage for a Post branded bag, so we moved to a non branded large plastic mailer. We are attempting to find a more environmentally friendly mailer but most companies only make small ones. No use for a lovely market baskets, so ironically whilst our product is completely eco friendly, we still have a way to go on packaging. We are working on it!!
Our posting days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We have flat rate of $15 per basket for Australia wide shipping which is additional to the cost of the purchase. For multiple purchases there is an additional cost of $7 per basket. Recently Australia Post has been charging us the volumetric price for all parcels over 1 kg, this means that often they charge us for potentially 6/7 kilos when the parcel might be only 1.1kg. This is very tricky for multiple purchases and we feel it quite unfair for a light but bulky items. As a result we have had to adjust our price for the multiple purchases as several times we have been up to $10 out of pocket for parcels. Sorry about this. We don’t feel we have a choice.
With regular shipping here is automatic parcel tracking provided by Australia Post. We add this tracking info to your purchase information.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
