August and still in lockdown!

Hi all

I can’t really believe that I am writing that we are still in lockdown – but there it is! Then I chatted with my son in the UK and was reminded that they had over 4 months in confinement,  earlier this year, which certainly puts this into Sydney experience into perspective.  Here he is in the dead of winter with his new puppy and of course a basket. There is always a silver lining.

So we just have to keep plodding along. On the bright side the new shipment of baskets is getting so much closer.  They have left Singapore and are steaming their way to Sydney.  It will be such a pleasure to have all the baskets back in stock.

We need a bit of fun and the promise of Spring coming soon!  Whilst the decision to postpone our annual trade fair Life Instyle Melbourne, until next year, has now been taken (sad I was looking forward to our annual trip to Melbourne).  We will still be working on our wholesale offering.  Once the shipment is closer look out for updates. All of our great markets are still operating for essential food services. It is wonderful that Le Marché-Willoughby will start back up this Sunday 8 August for a shop and go service. Cambridge Markets EQ and Carriageworks Farmers markets have continued to operate right throughout the lockdown.
