December festive update

A quick hello from 2 duck in the final days of the pre Christmas rush.

Express shipping 

We will be offering a free upgrade to express shipping until Thursday 22nd December.

Last markets for the year

Carriageworks Twilight Market Wednesday 21st Dec from 4 to 9pm.

Le Marche- Willoughby Thursday 2.30-7.30pm

Cambridge market EQ on Xmas eve,  8am to 2pm.

We will be back at:

Online shop:

Our online shop will be open right through Xmas and New Year and we will post on days that the Post offices are open.  Probably Wednesday or Thursday 28th  or 29th December and then after the New Year holidays.

 

Wholesale orders:

Need a top up of baskets. No worry! We  will be processing wholesale orders after New Year when Aramex start deliveries up again.   We will be closed for the public holidays.  Need to save up those holiday days for another trip to France later in the year.

December!

We welcome December, the cherry season and so much that is festive in our lives!   It is a true joy that we have got to this time of the year and we are have been so busy with markets, onlines and wholesales.

There  are still many great events and shopping opportunities to be had in December this year for your festive shopping.  Also from today until December 13th – all baskets ordered online will be sent EXPRESS to make sure they make it in time.

Stop press: we have just extended our Express Post offer until Monday 20th. A huge big thank you to all those who have supported us at 2 duck trading co this year.

 

 

Baskets of the Month

Our adorable open weave baskets are just so fun and make the best little hamper baskets.  Available in three sizes – you can see them over on our shop page.  Hand woven from the fibre from large palm trees near the desert in Marrakech,  these baskets are in the beautiful blond coloured palm leaf.  They have a short real leather handle, stand well for use around the house or great as a basket filled with seasonal gifts. We will be at Carriageworks Farmers market on every Saturday in December,  from 8am to 1pm.

We are delighted to have two  Le Marche -Willoughby markets prior to Christmas.  Find us on the regular Sunday 12th December and an extra special additional market on the 19th December to make sure you have everything you need to celebrate the French way. We will have good supplies of pates, rillette’s and foie gras.

We have arrived at December and the final month of the year!!

We still  have lots of markets, some great events and one more pop up shop for the year  to come.  Plenty of baskets, St James teeshirts  online too.

Online orders – we are posting everyday at the moment and will make every effort to get parcels out as quickly as possible.

Moore Park Produce market every Wednesday and Saturday of December until the Xmas market on Wednesday 21st Dec. Market then re opening on Wednesday 11th January. We have a great range of French gourmet foods available at the market for the festive season and will be taking orders for foie gras, duck confit, snails.  Call 0404259986 to order.

Sunday 4th December in the Wahroonga shopping village. We are in our usual spot just on the corner of Redleaf and Railway Ave. Open from 10 to 4pm this is a fantastic annual shopping day.

 

Sydney Living Museum Hyde Park Barracks Christmas fair

Thursday 14th December at the Hyde Park Barracks from 4 to 8pm for foodie gifts and 2 duck wares and so much more.

 

Hard to Find  & House and Garden Christmas market

Sunday 18th December at the Entertainment Quarter Moore Park –  10 to 5pm.
