muguet 2

Every where in France in May is the mois du Muguet – the festival of the Lily of the Valley. After the busyness of February and the trade fair we are back to our markets and planning for events and preparing for our next shipment.

Basket of the Month

Rustic Long handled basket

The baskets with leather trim and thick comfy handles are amongst the strongest and most durable in our range. This basket adds rustic charm to the classic style. Woven in the rarer dwarf palm tree leaf it has a rougher and more raw look. Made in the western part of Morocco nearer the coast it reflects the traditions of that area. This and all our baskets available on the buy basket online page – buy baskets

The market tales

Unfortunately due to some difficulties between the local community and Marrickville Council this event has been postponed!! Until later in the year. Such a shame as we visited the Precinct and thought it would be fantastic.
